Laura Stockwell is a Michigan-based multimedia artist whose work is grounded in the natural world. While watercolor is her primary medium, she also explores ink and watercolor, acrylic, linocut, acrylic - each offering a different lens through which to observe and interpret the quiet details of forests, fields, and freshwater landscapes. Her work reflects a deep attention to place, shaped by the changing seasons and subtle rhythms of life in northern Michigan.

Sojourn: A Woman's Guide to Camping Alone
This is a how-to book for those interested in car camping alone. With detailed instructions for setting up a camp and choosing equipment, it will inform you on how to get started with camping alone.
Based on my own personal experiences with camping as a solo pursuit, this book will be sure to help a beginner know that mistakes happen but the adventures that happen are more than worth the learning curve.
